Photographers are delighted to reveal this secret under the frozen lake water.

Every year, from November to March next year, the water of Lake Abraham at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Canada freezes. The whole lake then turned into a giant ice rink.

It seemed that in that cold life would stop, but under the dense ice, aquatic plants still tried to fight to survive. The result of that process was methane gas bubbles. The clusters of bubbles are then frozen, creating particularly interesting shapes for the water surface of Lake Abraham.

This interesting thing was recorded by American photographer Chip Phillips while visiting this land. "I had to wear spiked shoes to walk on the ice. To get such beautiful photos, I really didn't spend too much effort, just had to walk on the lake and shoot."

Many photographers also come to Abraham Lake to capture unique images of bubbles frozen under the lake water.

You don't need to use Photoshop to get images like these. Simply because everything has been laid out under the frozen lake, photographers only need to record.
